Preparation for Adulthood
Our 'Preparation for Adulthood' course is designed to provide young individuals with the necessary life skills and knowledge to confidently transition into adulthood. We focus on personal development, financial literacy, and practical life management.
ASDAN's "Preparing for Adulthood" programmes are a series of courses for young people that are structured around four key pathways: friends, relationships and community; employment; good health; and independent living. These programs aim to build personal, social, and work-related abilities through a person-centered approach. The current program, called "My Independence," offers a range of certificated courses designed to help learners achieve meaningful outcomes and transition to adult life.
